Akrosorb™ 29634 TNPP-HP (72) by Akrochem is a dispersion of antioxidant TNPP-HP on amorphous silica. It is a non-discoloring, non-staining and non-tinting phosphite. It offers low discoloration and high hydrolysis resistance in white and light-colored elastomeric compounds. It acts as a stabilizer in thermoplastics like ABS, HIPS, PC, polyolefins, PS and PVC. It is used in combination with phenolic antioxidants or thioesters in light colored NR and synthetic elastomers. It provides a chelating or sequestering effect on heavy metals preventing yellowing. Recommended dosage level for the rubber hydrocarbon is 0.50 to 2.0 parts on the rubber hydrocarbon, in plastics is 0.2%-1.00% and 0.2% antioxidant can be added to phenol antioxidant loading to attain best synergistic effect. Akrosorb™ 29634 TNPP-HP (72) is approved by FDA. Akrosorb™ 29691 PE (72) by Akrochem is a release agent and internal lubricant for synthetic- and natural rubbers. It is a uniform dry powdered dispersion of 72% polyethylene homopolymer on synthetic calcium silicate. This additive is a processing aid for rubbers that offers excellent release from metal surfaces. It also functions as a mold release in many non-black formulas. It is a dry liquid dispersion (DLD), easy to handle and can be weighed accurately. Akrosorb™ 29691 PE (72) allows the use of polyethylene wax for mill mix processing (most solid PE waxes require melt temperatures of over 200°F). It shows better uniformity of the mix at lower processing temperatures. Akrosorb™ 19348 by Akrochem is a uniform dry powdered, release agent and internal lubricant for mostly all synthetic- and natural rubbers. It is a dispersion of 72% AC-1702 PE wax (low molecular weight polyethylene wax in a paste form) on synthetic calcium silicate. It is a semi-solid process aid for rubber and provides an excellent release from metal surfaces. It also functions as mold release in many non-black formulas. It is a dry liquid dispersion (DLD) is easy to handle and can be weighed accurately. Akrosorb™ 19348 allows the mill mixer to use PE wax in formulations (most solid PE waxes require melt temperatures of over 200°F). It shows better uniformity of the mix at lowering processing temperature. In this grade, DLD are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, quality and raw material control. Akrosorb™ 19480 by Akrochem is an efficient peroxide co-agent for the curing of most elastomeric systems. It is a 75% active dispersion of ethylene glycol di-methacrylate on calcium silicate. It is applicable in high hardness compounds (70 Shore D), that have excellent processability and better elastomeric properties (compression set resistance) than filler or plastic reinforced rubber. In this grade, less peroxide needs to be used to reach an equivalent state-of-cure of a formula using peroxide alone. In Akrosorb™ 19480 adding a higher-level additive, raises modulus, hardness and plasticize the rubber. It is advisable to use a scorch-retarded co-agent like SR 500 or 516 when using high levels of acrylate co-agents. In contrast to other co-agent types, the acrylic resin monomer is useful in all peroxide curable rubbers. Akrosorb™ 29582 EGDMA (75) by Akrochem is an efficient di-functional peroxide co-agent for the curing of most elastomeric systems. It is a 75% active dispersion of ethylene glycol di-methacrylate on synthetic calcium silicate. It is applicable in high hardness compounds (70 Shore D), that have excellent processability and better elastomeric properties (compression set resistance) than filler or plastic reinforced rubber. Akrosorb™ 9675 by Akrochem is an efficient di-functional peroxide co-agent for the curing of most elastomeric systems. It is a 75% active dispersion of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate on calcium silicate. In this grade, less peroxide needs to be used to reach an equivalent state-of-cure of a formula using peroxide alone. It is applicable in high hardness compounds (70 Shore D), that have excellent processability and better elastomeric properties (compression set resistance) than filler or plastic reinforced rubber. It raises modulus, hardness and plasticizes the rubber by adding the higher level additive. In Akrosorb™ 9675, scorch-retarded acrylate monomer allows peroxide cures that can be transfer or injection molded due to lower viscosity and reasonable scorch times. Akrosorb™ 19541 by Akrochem is an effective co-agent for peroxide cured polymers especially saturated backbone types like EPDM and CPE. It is a dry powdered dispersion of 50% TAC absorbed on a burgess KE clay. It is available in powder form that makes it easy to handle and can be weighed accurately. In Akrosorb™ 19541, KE clay is a treated variety, which makes it hydrophobic in nature, so that it can be used in electrical applications. Akrosorb™ 19474 by Akrochem is an excellent low-temperature plasticizer and softener for many synthetic elastomers, mostly NBR. It is a dry powdered dispersion of 72% tri-butoxy ethyl phosphate absorbed on synthetic calcium silicate. This grade helps in retaining high tensile strength and elongation with low hardness. It imparts flame resistance and incorporated readily in compounds. It is easy to handle and can be weighed accurately as it is available in dry powder form. In Akrosorb™ 19474, dry liquid dispersion (DLD) are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, quality and raw material control. It shows better uniformity of the mix at lower processing temperatures.
