Akrosorb™ 9675

Supplied byAkrochem- Last Updated on Oct 30, 2020

Akrosorb™ 9675 by Akrochem is an efficient di-functional peroxide co-agent for the curing of most elastomeric systems. It is a 75% active dispersion of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate on calcium silicate. In this grade, less peroxide needs to be used to reach an equivalent state-of-cure of a formula using peroxide alone. It is applicable in high hardness compounds (70 Shore D), that have excellent processability and better elastomeric properties (compression set resistance) than filler or plastic reinforced rubber. It raises modulus, hardness and plasticizes the rubber by adding the higher level additive. In Akrosorb™ 9675, scorch-retarded acrylate monomer allows peroxide cures that can be transfer or injection molded due to lower viscosity and reasonable scorch times.
