Akrosorb™ 29634 TNPP-HP (72) by Akrochem is a dispersion of antioxidant TNPP-HP on amorphous silica. It is a non-discoloring, non-staining and non-tinting phosphite. It offers low discoloration and high hydrolysis resistance in white and light-colored elastomeric compounds. It acts as a stabilizer in thermoplastics like ABS, HIPS, PC, polyolefins, PS and PVC. It is used in combination with phenolic antioxidants or thioesters in light colored NR and synthetic elastomers. It provides a chelating or sequestering effect on heavy metals preventing yellowing. Recommended dosage level for the rubber hydrocarbon is 0.50 to 2.0 parts on the rubber hydrocarbon, in plastics is 0.2%-1.00% and 0.2% antioxidant can be added to phenol antioxidant loading to attain best synergistic effect.
