Akroform® HMT-80/SBR/P

Akroform® HMT-80/SBR/P by Akrochem is 80% polymeric dispersion of hexamethylenetetramine in SBR. It is a masterbatch and is used with resorcinol (with silica) to make rubber-to-fabric adhesion possible. It allows easy weigh-up and protection from skin irritation due to its pelletized form. Akroform® HMT-80/SBR/P acts as an efficient accelerator for sulfenamide and thiazole type cure system. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. The recommended level of active HMT is 1.6 phr, active resorcinol is 2.5 phr and silica-to-bond rubber formulas (nylon, cotton, activated polyester) is 10-15 phr.

Akroform® ZnO-85/EPR/P by Akrochem is a polymeric dispersion of zinc oxide in the EPR polymer binder. It also acts as an activator for many rubber chemistries. It promotes enhanced dispersion of zinc oxide in rubber formulation, where the dispersion or powder form is not easily achieved. Akroform® TMTM-80/EPR/P by Akrochem is a polymeric dispersion of tetramethyl thiuram mono-sulfide in EPR. It is a non-discoloring, non-staining very active thiuram accelerator. It exhibits an excellent scorch-to-cure rate among secondary accelerators. It offers fast cures with minimum loss in scorch time. Akroform® TMTM-80/EPR/P is a masterbatch grade. Recommended as a powerful secondary accelerator for natural- and synthetic rubber.

Akroform® MBTS-90/EPR/P

Akroform® MBTS-90/EPR/P by Akrochem is a 90% polymeric dispersion of MBTS in EPR polymeric binder. It is very active at a temperature above 280°F and acts as an organic accelerator. It is also used as a retarder in non-sulfur modified polychloroprene- and as a potent retarder in the peroxide-cure system. It requires zinc oxide, fatty acid and sulfur, to achieve optimal performance. This grade is activated by aldehyde amine, di-thiocarbamates, alkaline, guanidines and thiurams. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. It can be used as a mild peptizer for natural rubber. Akroform® MBTS-90/EPR/P increases scorch resistance when combines with retarder- PX, AK or SAFE.
