OS® 1200 by Honeywell is a methyl tris (methyl isobutylketoxime) silane grade in the form of clear to light yellow combustible liquid with a typical smell of MIBKO. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. Provides crack resistance to polycarbonate. It readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. OS® 1200 is often applied as the main crosslinker of choice for oxime silicone sealants and can be used by itself or in combination with other oxime silanes to provide the sealant with targeted properties such as desired cure rate and adhesion. The shelf-life is 12 months. OS® 9000 by Honeywell is a phenyl oximino silane grade in the form of a clear colorless to pale yellow combustible liquid. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. It readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. It allows RTV sealant formulations to develop low modulus sealants with high movement capabilities. Use of OS® 9000 improves tear- and heat resistance of sealants. It aids in achieving extended tooling time without jeopardizing crack-resistance. The shelf-life is 12 months. OS® 2000 by Solstice Advanced Materials is a vinyl tris (methyl ethylketoxime) silane grade in the form of a clear, colorless combustible liquid. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. Offers consistent formulations and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. It is typically used in combination with OS® 2000 to fine tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties. Hence it is also used in sealant applications where tin-free products are required. The shelf-life is 12 months. OS® 1600 is methyl tris(ketoxime)silane by Honeywell. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Offers low odor, consistent formulations and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. It can be used by itself or in combination with other oxime silanes to provide the sealants with targeted properties such as desired cure rate and adhesion. OS® 1600 is also used for low and high modulus systems. OS® 2600 by Honeywell is vinyl tris (oxime) silane. Acts as a crosslinking agent. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. Offers consistent formulations, low odor and low cost. OS® 2600 is also suitable for low or high modulus systems. It can be used by itself or in combination with other oxime silanes to provide the sealant with targeted properties such as desired cure rate, adhesion etc. OS® 4010 by Solstice Advanced Materials is a blend of MOS [methyl tris (MEKO) silane] and TOS [tetrakis (MEKO) silane]. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers short SOT, better color stability, consistent formulations, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 4010 is typically used alone or in combination with other oximesilane crosslinkers to fine-tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties and manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant. OS® 4025 by Solstice Advanced Materials is blend of VOS [vinyl tris(MEKO)silane] and TOS [tetrakis(MEKO)silane]. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers consistent formulations, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture.
