OS® 9000 by Honeywell is a phenyl oximino silane grade in the form of a clear colorless to pale yellow combustible liquid. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. It readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. It allows RTV sealant formulations to develop low modulus sealants with high movement capabilities. Use of OS® 9000 improves tear- and heat resistance of sealants. It aids in achieving extended tooling time without jeopardizing crack-resistance. The shelf-life is 12 months.
