Blend of VOS [vinyl tris(MEKO)silane] and TOS [tetrakis(MEKO)silane]. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers consistent formulations, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 4015 manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant and typically used alone or in combination with other oximesilane crosslinkers to fine-tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties. It can cure relatively well without tin catalyst and hence also used in sealant applications where the use of tin is to be avoided.
