OS® 4018 by Solstice Advanced Materials is blend of MOS [methyl tris(MEKO)silane] and TOS [tetrakis(MEKO)silane]. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers better color stability, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 4018 manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant and typically used alone or in combination with other oximesilane crosslinkers to fine-tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties. OS® 4018 can also be used for low and high modulus systems.
