OS® 4037 by Solstice Advanced Materials is a blend of MOS [methyl tris (MEKO)silane] and TOS [tetrakis(MEKO)silane]-based crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers short SOT, better color stability, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 4037 manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant and typically used alone or in combination with other oximesilane crosslinkers to fine-tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties. It can also be used for low and high modulus systems.
