OS® 1200 by Honeywell is a methyl tris (methyl isobutylketoxime) silane grade in the form of clear to light yellow combustible liquid with a typical smell of MIBKO. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. Provides crack resistance to polycarbonate. It readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. OS® 1200 is often applied as the main crosslinker of choice for oxime silicone sealants and can be used by itself or in combination with other oxime silanes to provide the sealant with targeted properties such as desired cure rate and adhesion. The shelf-life is 12 months.
