OS® 4010 by Solstice Advanced Materials is a blend of MOS [methyl tris (MEKO) silane] and TOS [tetrakis (MEKO) silane]. Acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow fluid with a typical smell of MEKO. Offers short SOT, better color stability, consistent formulations, good shelf life and low cost. It is non-corrosive to most materials and readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. OS® 4010 is typically used alone or in combination with other oximesilane crosslinkers to fine-tune the cure profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties and manufactures 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant.
