TEGO® Antifoam 1488 by Evonik is an organo-modified siloxane emulsion-based anti-foaming agent. It combines excellent foam suppression and long-term efficiency with maximum compatibility at the same time.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is easily dispersible in water (1:1 to 1:10).</li> <li> It is suitable for aqueous-based systems.</li> <li> It is used in various polymer dispersions/latices where the use of traditional silicone oil-based antifoams is restricted and the textile industry (e.g. textile sizing, production of non-woven).</li> <li> Recommended dosage ranges from 0.05% to 0.2% (initial dosage: 0.1%).</li> <li> TEGO® Antifoam 1488 complies with FDA regulations.</li> </ul> TEGO® Antifoam KS 53 by Evonik is a self-emulsifying, APEO-free organic antifoam concentrate based on a food grade vegetable oil, containing small amounts of organo-modified siloxanes. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It outperforms conventional organic antifoams in many respects (compatibility and efficiency).</li><li>It offers reduced or no fogging.<li>It is used as processing aid for the water based polymerization of thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. in the de-monomerization).</li><li>Its recommended dosage ranges from 0.00-0.2% (initial dosage 0.1%).</li><li>TEGO® Antifoam KS 53 has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul> TEGO® VariPlus 1201 TF by Evonik is a polyurethane polyol resin. It is present as a colorless liquid with fruity odor. Also, it is free from organotin-containing compounds and formaldehyde (maximum 1 ppm present). Exhibits good pigment wetting & stabilization (improves color strength of pigmented formulations). Shows good adhesion on plastic/ aluminum, improved blocking resistance and high light & heat resistance. Soluble in ethanol, butyl glycol, acetone, butyl acetate and TPGDA (tripropylene glycol diacrylate). Highly suitable for solvent-borne formulations requiring good hardness, gloss and drying speed. TEGO® VariPlus 1201 TF is listed in DSL (Domestic Substance List), ECL (Korean Existing Chemicals List), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) IECSC (Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances Produced or Imported in China), PICCS (The Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and TCSI (Taiwan's Chemical Substance Inventory). Recommended addition level is 5.0 - 20.0 % (solid calculated on binder solid). TEGO® Antifoam 2450 by Evonik is an APEO-free organic concentrate based on vegetable oil. Acts as an anti-foaming agent and processing aid. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation. It is dilutable in water. Used in water-based polymerization of SBR/NBR rubber materials. Helps in the manufacture of rubber articles. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.05 - 0.8%. It complies with FDA regulations. TEGO® Antifoam 2450 is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, AICS, ECL, PICCS, CHINA, TAIWAN. TEGO® Antifoam 2280 by Evonik is an polyether emulsion-based anti-foaming agent. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in formulations produced with dispersing agents including cellulose or polyvinyl alcohols such as polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), (EVAc) and S-PVC. Offers improved dispersibility and dilution stability than conventional organic antifoams. It is easily dilutable in water (1:3 to 1:20). Recommended dosage ranges from 0.01 to 0.1 wt%.
