TEGO® Antifoam 2291

TEGO® Antifoam 2291 by Evonik is an anti-foaming agent and processing aid. It is a self-emulsifying APEO-free organic concentrate. It is absolute free of silicone and does not contain any silica. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation. It outperforms conventional organic antifoams. It is dilutable in water. It is used in water-based polymerization of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. de-monomerisation of SBR or NBR emulsions, handling of acrylates). It helps in the manufacture of rubber articles. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.005% - 0.2% (initial dosage 0.1%). TEGO® Antifoam complies with FDA regulations. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
