TEGO® Antifoam KE 600 by Evonik is an APEO-free organic emulsion based on polyether containing small amounts of organo-modified siloxanes. Acts as an anti-foaming agent. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation. Outperforms conventional organic antifoams in many respects, in particular regarding dispersibility and dilution stability. Offers reduced or no fogging of PVC and surface defects of coated and uncoated paper. It is dilutable in water. Used in emulsion, suspension and micro-suspension polymerization of PVC throughout all process steps, especially for S-PVC production. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.005% - 0.2% (initial dosage 0.1%). TEGO® Antifoam KE 600 by Evonik complies with FDA regulations.
