TEGO® Antifoam KS 53 by Evonik is a self-emulsifying, APEO-free organic antifoam concentrate based on a food grade vegetable oil, containing small amounts of organo-modified siloxanes. It destroys foam or prevents foam formation.
- It outperforms conventional organic antifoams in many respects (compatibility and efficiency).
- It offers reduced or no fogging.
- It is used as processing aid for the water based polymerization of thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. in the de-monomerization).
- Its recommended dosage ranges from 0.00-0.2% (initial dosage 0.1%).
- TEGO® Antifoam KS 53 has a shelf life of 12 months.
