TEGO® VariPlus 1201 TF

TEGO® VariPlus 1201 TF by Evonik is a polyurethane polyol resin. It is present as a colorless liquid with fruity odor. Also, it is free from organotin-containing compounds and formaldehyde (maximum 1 ppm present). Exhibits good pigment wetting & stabilization (improves color strength of pigmented formulations). Shows good adhesion on plastic/ aluminum, improved blocking resistance and high light & heat resistance. Soluble in ethanol, butyl glycol, acetone, butyl acetate and TPGDA (tripropylene glycol diacrylate). Highly suitable for solvent-borne formulations requiring good hardness, gloss and drying speed. TEGO® VariPlus 1201 TF is listed in DSL (Domestic Substance List), ECL (Korean Existing Chemicals List), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) IECSC (Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances Produced or Imported in China), PICCS (The Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and TCSI (Taiwan's Chemical Substance Inventory). Recommended addition level is 5.0 - 20.0 % (solid calculated on binder solid).
