Purgex™ 461 Plus by Neutrex is a purging compound. It is ready-to-use and is recommended for color or material changes and the removal of residual contamination. It is suitable for blown film and ECM multicavity molds. It offers mechanical activity for efficient cleaning and foaming agent for enhanced mixing. It neutralizes acid gases generated by PVC, reduces scrap and machine downtime. It cleans screws, barrels, dies and hot runners. It forms a barrier which prevents oxidation and black spots. It is recommended for LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, PP, mono-film, polyolefins and compostables. Purgex™ 3057 Plus by Neutrex is a purging compound, ready-to-use blend of active ingredients with a polyethylene carrier providing rapid turnaround for more challenging color and/or material changes on engineering resins. It efficiently removes residual contamination. With regular use, it forms a temporary barrier which protects steel surfaces from oxidation, thus extending the cleaning process. Recommended for hot runners, cold runners, check valves, mixing nozzles, melt pumps and extrusion dies. Purgex™ 3057 Plus is non-toxic, non-abrasive and safe to use. Purgex™ 461 by Neutrex is a non-toxic, non-abrasive, safe purging compound. It is a ready-to-use blend consisting of active ingredients with a polyethylene carrier. It is designed for blown film applications, it cleans the extruder, screen pack housing and die/manifold, removing all types of contamination and improving overall film appearance. It may be used in certain extrusion lines without removing the screen pack. Purgex™ 461 is known for thorough cleaning of melt pumps and is safely processed through dies as small as .030-inch (0.75mm). It is recommended for extrusion dies and melt pumps. Recommended dosage level is 15lbs of product per 100lbs of throughput. It works best with LDPE and LLDPE. Purgex™ 457 Plus by Neutrex is a multi-purpose purging compound. It performs particularly well in removing low- to mid-range mineral- and glass-filled resins. It is non-toxic, non-abrasive with mechanical activity for efficient cleaning, foaming action for enhanced mixing, and a lubricant for easy removal. With regular use, Purgex™ 3056 Plus forms a temporary barrier which protects steel surfaces from oxidation, further extending the cleaning process. Purgex™ 459 Plus efficiently removes residual contamination, cleans the barrel, screw, check ring, as well as hot runner systems and is safely processed through hot runner gates as small as .030-inch (0.75mm). It is recommended for hot runners, mixing nozzles, check valves, cold runners, accumulators, extrusion dies and melt pumps. Purgex™ 742 by Neutrex is a high-efficiency purging compound, for polyolefins only, is designed for polypropylene copolymer applications for injection molding of automotive interior trim parts. It is effective on resins HDPE, LDPE, PE, PP-Copolymer, PP-Homopolymer, and TPOs. It provides dual-cleaning action and requires reduced amount for efficient purging and low scrap. Purgex™ 742 is easily removed from the system with the next production resin. Recommended for efficient cleaning of mixing nozzles, barrel, screw, check ring, as well as hot runner systems, and is safely processed through tools with valve gates. It is non-toxic, non-abrasive and safe. Purgex™ 602 Plus by Neutrex is the purging compound for clear resins. It is a ready-to-use blend consisting of active ingredients with a polystyrene carrier. It performs fast and efficient color and material changes with PC and PS resins and their copolymers. It is very effective in reducing/eliminating the haze that is often left after purging with polyolefin-based purging compounds. The active ingredients in Purgex™ 602 Plus help prevent degradation of the polystyrene carrier. It efficiently removes residual contamination from the screw and barrel in injection molding machines and extruders and effectively cleans hot runner systems. Recommended for hot runners, cold runners, check valves, and mixing nozzles. It is non-toxic, non-abrasive and safe to use.
