Purgex™ 461 Plus

Purgex™ 461 Plus by Neutrex is a purging compound. It is ready-to-use and is recommended for color or material changes and the removal of residual contamination. It is suitable for blown film and ECM multicavity molds. It offers mechanical activity for efficient cleaning and foaming agent for enhanced mixing. It neutralizes acid gases generated by PVC, reduces scrap and machine downtime. It cleans screws, barrels, dies and hot runners. It forms a barrier which prevents oxidation and black spots. It is recommended for LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, PP, mono-film, polyolefins and compostables.

Purgex™ 3057 Plus

Purgex™ 3057 Plus by Neutrex is a purging compound, ready-to-use blend of active ingredients with a polyethylene carrier providing rapid turnaround for more challenging color and/or material changes on engineering resins. It efficiently removes residual contamination. With regular use, it forms a temporary barrier which protects steel surfaces from oxidation, thus extending the cleaning process. Recommended for hot runners, cold runners, check valves, mixing nozzles, melt pumps and extrusion dies. Purgex™ 3057 Plus is non-toxic, non-abrasive and safe to use.

Purgex™ 461

Purgex™ 461 by Neutrex is a non-toxic, non-abrasive, safe purging compound. It is a ready-to-use blend consisting of active ingredients with a polyethylene carrier. It is designed for blown film applications, it cleans the extruder, screen pack housing and die/manifold, removing all types of contamination and improving overall film appearance. It may be used in certain extrusion lines without removing the screen pack. Purgex™ 461 is known for thorough cleaning of melt pumps and is safely processed through dies as small as .030-inch (0.75mm). It is recommended for extrusion dies and melt pumps. Recommended dosage level is 15lbs of product per 100lbs of throughput. It works best with LDPE and LLDPE.
