Purgex™ 461

Purgex™ 461 by Neutrex is a non-toxic, non-abrasive, safe purging compound. It is a ready-to-use blend consisting of active ingredients with a polyethylene carrier. It is designed for blown film applications, it cleans the extruder, screen pack housing and die/manifold, removing all types of contamination and improving overall film appearance. It may be used in certain extrusion lines without removing the screen pack. Purgex™ 461 is known for thorough cleaning of melt pumps and is safely processed through dies as small as .030-inch (0.75mm). It is recommended for extrusion dies and melt pumps. Recommended dosage level is 15lbs of product per 100lbs of throughput. It works best with LDPE and LLDPE.
