Ketron® CA30 PEEK by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a semicrystalline, polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. It reduces thermal expansion and provides 3.5 times higher thermal conductivity, dissipates heat from the bearing surface faster as well as improves bearing life & pressure-velocity capabilities.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Shows good hydrolysis-, thermal-, wear-, abrasion- and high chemical resistance.</li> <li>Exhibits low moisture absorption and high compressive strength.</li> <li>Offers good dimensional stability, inherent low flammability and very low smoke emission benefits.</li> <li>It exhibits excellent resistance to high energy radiation, high mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures.</li> <li>Suitable for processing by extrusion.</li> <li>Ketron® CA30 PEEK is used in pump components (pump wear rings), valve seats, bearings, rollers and gears.</li> <li>Recommended for high temperature insulators, components exposed to boiling water or steam.</li></ul>

Ketron® 1000 PEEK

Ketron® 1000 PEEK by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is an unfilled, tough, semi-crystalline, polyetheretherketone [PEEK] grade with impact strength and highest elongation. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, very low moisture absorption, good wear- & abrasion- resistance and remains unaffected by continuous exposure to hot water or steam. Provides excellent combination of thermal resistance and high compressive strength. Has good electrical insulating as well as dielectric properties, very good dimensional stability, inherent low flammability and very low levels of smoke evolution during combustion. Also exhibits excellent resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays], high mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. It is ideal for instrument components where aesthetics is important, as well as for seal components where ductility and inertness are important. Ketron® 1000 PEEK is suitable for processing by extrusion. Used in pump components, valve seats, bearings, rollers, gears, high temperature insulators, components exposed to boiling water or steam. Applications include bushings, bearings, seals, back up rings and structural parts (vacuum wand handles during semiconductor manufacturing). Complies with 3A-Dairy, NSF, USP Class VI, FDA and USDA.
