Ketron® TX PEEK

Ketron® TX PEEK is a semicrystalline, polyetheretherketone [PEEK] grade reinforced with solid lubricant. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, very low moisture absorption, superior wear& frictional performance, good abrasion resistance and remains unaffected by continuous exposure to hot water or steam. Provides excellent combination of thermal resistance and high compressive strength. Has good electrical insulating & dielectric properties, very good dimensional stability, inherent low flammability and very low levels of smoke evolution during combustion. Also exhibits excellent resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays], high mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Used in pump components, valve seats, bearings, rollers, gears, high temperature insulators, components exposed to boiling water or steam. Complies with food contact.
