Duratron® U1000 PEI by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is an amorphous, flame-resistant polyether imide (PEI) grade. Exhibits high strength, low smoke emission and excellent heat resistance. Offers good hydrolysis resistance, high resistance to acidic solutions and capable of withstanding repeated autoclaving cycles. Its stock shapes are produced from selected batches of a specific ultem polyetherimide resin. Recommended for reusable medical devices, analytical instrumentation, electrical & electronic insulators (including many semiconductor process components) and a variety of structural component applications. Duratron® U1000 PEI complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating, FDA, EU regulation directive 2002/72/EC, ISO 10993-1 and USP Class VI regulations. Duratron® 1000 PC by Quadrant is an amorphous, transparent polycarbonate (PC) grade. Exhibits high impact resistance, high modulus of elasticity and good dielectric properties. Offers good strength, very low moisture absorbtion and good acid resistance. Quadrant® LSG PC stock shapes are produced from selected batches of a specific non-UV-stabilized polycarbonate resin. Recommended for structural applications such as sight glasses & windows and electrical & electronic applications. Duratron® D7000 PI by Quadrant is recommended for valve, pump seats, seals, wear surfaces, structural & wear parts for semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, fixtures, handling parts for glass & plastics manufacturing and metal replacement for lightweight & lubrication free aerospace component applications.
