Duratron® U2100 PEI by Quadrant is an amorphous, flame resistant polyether imide (PEI) grade reinforced with 10% glass. Exhibits high rigidity, improved dimensional stability, high strength, low smoke emission and excellent heat resistance. Offers good hydrolysis resistance, high resistance to acidic solutions and capable of withstanding repeated autoclaving cycles. Duratron® LSG PEI stock shapes are produced from selected batches of a specific ultem polyetherimide resin. Recommended for reusable medical devices, analytical instrumentation, electrical & electronic insulators (including many semiconductor process components) and a variety of structural component applications. Duratron® U2100 PEI by Quadrant complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating, FDA, EU regulation directive 2002/72/EC, ISO 10993-1 and USP Class VI regulations.
