Eastman 168™ is a range of general-purpose non-phthalate plasticizers for flexible PVC applications by Eastman Chemical Company. These terephthalate plasticizers offer good mechanical and permanence properties and excellent low temperature flexibility. They also provide low viscosity in plastisols with good viscosity stability.

Eastman 168™ plasticizers are specifically targeted at more demanding applications such as medical devices, toys, childcare articles, and food contact applications.

RHEOBYK® 7502 by BYK is a 100% emission-free, 100% micronized, organic powdered rheology modifier. It increases the stability of single component, silane-modified prepolymer systems. It has only a low impact on the low shear range and improves or increases the brush resistance. It is an aromatic- & tin-free, rheology and thixotropic-enhancing additive for solvent-free and solventborne systems. It contains organophilic phyllosilicates or pyrogenic fumed silica. It can protect the coating system from settling and syneresis. It offers high anti-sagging properties with improved leveling, even at low quantities. It is suitable for clear coats and pigmented systems. It can reduce negative influence on gloss and can achieve more cost-effective formulations. It is easy to incorporate. It is especially recommended for architectural-, floor- & general industrial coatings. It is designed for use in wood-, furniture- and protective coatings. The dosage level of RHEOBYK®-7405 is 10-40% based on organophilic phyllosilicates or pyrogenic fumed silica.

RHEOBYK® -440

It can improve the effect of pigment orientation in aqueous coating systems. It forms a three-dimensional network structure and increases the viscosity at low shear range with the help of pigments and fillers. It ensures an optimum handling and processability of the coating. It is especially recommended for use in aqueous protective coatings based on epoxy dispersions, industrial coatings and automotive base coats. RHEOBYK®-7600 by BYK is a VOC-, APEO- and tin-free, solution of hydrophobic modified polyurethane associative thickener (HEUR). It offers increased viscosity in low shear range. It is recommended for aqueous systems, to generate a highly pseudoplastic flow behavior. It can stabilize the viscosity when the colorant is added. It provides improved color acceptance, anti-sagging in conjunction with good leveling and storage stability. It shows good compatibility with the systems due to its chemical composition which makes it easy to incorporate and handle. It is not necessary to adjust the pH value or control the temperature during incorporation. It can be combined with rheology additives which are effective in high shear range. RHEOBYK®-7600 enables an optimum processability. It is designed for use in architectural- and protective coatings. It is suitable for wood & furniture coatings and industrial coatings. The dosage level of the grade is 0.1-1.5%. It has a shelf life of 18 months.

RHEOBYK® -430 by BYK is rheology modifier for improving the anti-sagging and anti-settling properties of solvent-borne coatings. It is solution of a high molecular weight, urea-modified, medium-polarity polyamide. It exhibits pseudoplastic flow behavior. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It generates a three-dimensional network structure with the aid of the pigments and fillers. </li> <li>It has no false body effect, no negative influence on the intercoat adhesion, and it is easy to process on account of its liquid form.</li> <li> Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.5% based on the total formulation to improve anti-settling properties and 1-3% to increase stability. </li> <li>It complies with regulation (EU) No. 10/2011, German BfR XIV and CoE ResAP (2004).</li> <li> RHEOBYK® -430 has shelf life of 18 months. </li></ul>
