RHEOBYK® -7600

RHEOBYK®-7600 by BYK is a VOC-, APEO- and tin-free, solution of hydrophobic modified polyurethane associative thickener (HEUR). It offers increased viscosity in low shear range. It is recommended for aqueous systems, to generate a highly pseudoplastic flow behavior. It can stabilize the viscosity when the colorant is added. It provides improved color acceptance, anti-sagging in conjunction with good leveling and storage stability. It shows good compatibility with the systems due to its chemical composition which makes it easy to incorporate and handle. It is not necessary to adjust the pH value or control the temperature during incorporation. It can be combined with rheology additives which are effective in high shear range. RHEOBYK®-7600 enables an optimum processability. It is designed for use in architectural- and protective coatings. It is suitable for wood & furniture coatings and industrial coatings. The dosage level of the grade is 0.1-1.5%. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
