RHEOBYK®-440 by BYK is solution of modified polyamide. It is a rheology additive to improve anti-sagging and anti-settling properties. It shows strong shear thinning properties. It can improve the effect of pigment orientation in aqueous coating systems. It forms a three-dimensional network structure and increases the viscosity at low shear range with the help of pigments and fillers. It ensures an optimum handling and processability of the coating. It is especially recommended for use in aqueous protective coatings based on epoxy dispersions, industrial coatings and automotive base coats. RHEOBYK®-440 can also be used in wood & furniture coatings, architectural costings and floor coatings. The shelf life 18 months.
