RHEOBYK® -7405

RHEOBYK®-7405 by Byk (Altana Group) is a solution of polyhydroxy carboxylic acid amide. It is an aromatic- & tin-free, rheology and thixotropic-enhancing additive for solvent-free and solventborne systems. It contains organophilic phyllosilicates or pyrogenic fumed silica. It can protect the coating system from settling and syneresis. It offers high anti-sagging properties with improved leveling, even at low quantities. It is suitable for clear coats and pigmented systems. It can reduce negative influence on gloss and can achieve more cost-effective formulations. It is easy to incorporate. It is especially recommended for architectural-, floor- & general industrial coatings. It is designed for use in wood-, furniture- and protective coatings. The dosage level of RHEOBYK®-7405 is 10-40% based on organophilic phyllosilicates or pyrogenic fumed silica.
