Octa-Soligen® Barium 12.5 by Borchers (Milliken) is a barium-based drier. It enhances gloss and prevents the primary driers from being adsorbed onto pigment and extender surfaces, thereby improving the coating’s stability during long-term storage.<br>

<li>The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on solid binder content.</li></ul> Octa-Soligen® 146 by Borchers (Milliken) is a combination drier for oxidatively drying alkyd resins. It improves hardness and exhibits uniform, optimum through-drying of the paint film. It delivers consistent drying performance even after prolonged storage of the coating.<br>

<li>The recommended dosage level of Octa-Soligen® 146 is 3-5% based on solid binder content.</li></ul> Octa-Soligen® Iron 7/8 by Borchers (Milliken) is an iron-based primary drier. It improves through-drying and also acts as an adhesion promoter in anti-corrosion coatings.<br>

It is based on metal salts of 2-ethylhexanoic acid (octoates) or their isomers. It accelerates film structure and curing of resin binders.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Octa-Soligen® Cobalt 6 (xylene) is suitable for use in synthetic resins for fiber reinforced tools and in unsaturated polyester systems for coatings and casting resins.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage level is 0.005-0.02% based on solid binder content.</li></ul> Octa-Soligen® 203 by Borchers (Milliken) is a special combination drier based on cobalt, barium, and zinc. It offers uniform through-drying and prevents wrinkling and skinning.<br>

<li>It is readily meterable and has a long shelf-life.</li>

<li>The recommended dosage level is 2-5% based on solid binder content.</li></ul> Octa-Soligen® Calcium 7 HS neutral by Borchers (Milliken) is a calcium drier for VOC-reduced and high-solid coatings. It exhibits synergistic effects in combination with primary driers such as cobalt and manganese and with secondary driers such as zirconium.<br>

It helps in catalyzing redox reactions, and even small additions lead to the dissociation of autoxidant hydroperoxides and to a change in valency from Co²⁺ to Co³⁺.<br>
