Tinuvin® 144

Tinuvin® 144 by BASF is bis (1, 2, 2, 6, 6-pentamethyl-4-piperidinyl)-[[3, 5-bis (1, 1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl]methyl]butylmalonate. This multi-functional additive act as light stabilizer of the hindered amine class (HALS). It provides significantly extended life time. It is versatile product for PES and epoxy/PES systems. It provides superior protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering delamination and color change in coatings. Tinuvin® B 75

Tinuvin® B 75 by BASF is a synergistic blend of 20% Irganox 1135, 40% Tinuvin® 571 and 40% Tinuvin® 765 based light and heat stabilizer. It is an easy to pump, pourable liquid allowing dust free handling, automated dosage and shortening of mixing time. It exhibits resistance to exudation/crystallization in many PUR systems. It is compatible with natural and pigmented materials. It is suitable for polyurethane coatings on tarpaulin and flooring. Recommended dosage level of Tinuvin® B 75 ranges between 0.2-1.5 %, depending on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.

Tinuvin® 123-DW ECO

Tinuvin® 123-DW ECO by BASF is an aqueous, non-basic hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for water-based coatings. It provides long-term protection against UV-induced degradation by minimizing gloss reduction, cracking, and chalking while improving the retention of mechanical properties. <br><ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers excellent thermal stability and is non-migrating, and compatible with acidic paint ingredients such as catalysts and surfactants. </li><li> It also preserves dry-film properties including color, transparency, and gloss without adversely affecting water sensitivity, hardness, scratch resistance, or blocking resistance. </li><li> Tinuvin® 123-DW ECO is recommended for water-based formulations with a pH range of 4.5–12, including acrylics, one- and two-component polyurethane dispersions (PUD), and UV-curable coatings. </li><li> Its applications include automotive, industrial, architectural, wood, plastic, glass, and ceramic coatings, as well as overprint varnishes. </li><li> For transparent and semi-transparent outdoor coatings, it is recommended to use the product in combination with a suitable UV absorber for optimum weathering performance. </li><li>Typical dosage levels (based on active ingredient relative to total binder solids) are 0.5–1.0% for clear coatings, 1.0–1.5% for semi-transparent coatings, and 1.5–3.0% for opaque coatings. </li></ul>

Tinuvin® 400-DW ECO

Tinuvin® 400-DW ECO by BASF is an aqueous preparation of a triazine-based UV absorber. It is designed to meet highest performance and durability requirements of indoor and exterior (in combination with a HALS) coatings. It provides blue-shifted spectral absorbance, excellent long-term performance (photo-permanence), and high thermal stability. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It does not interact with amines or metal catalysts and is non-migrating, reacting via the OH-function with NCO and melamine crosslinking systems. </li> <li>It fully preserves dry-film properties such as inherent color, transparency, and gloss without affecting water sensitivity, blocking resistance, hardness, or scratch resistance. </li> <li>It mixes easily into a broad range of water-based systems without high shear, co-solvents, or dispersing aids, shows no settling during storage, and contains no EUH 208 label, MIT, or zinc pyrithione.</li> <li>It is suitable for automotive and transportation coatings, industrial coatings, plastic coatings on PC, PMMA, and PET, as well as architectural coatings for roof tiles, walls, and floors. </li> <li>It is also recommended for overprint varnishes on metal, board, paper, and laminates, glass coatings and glass bonding layers, and water-based UV-curable systems.</li> <li>Tinuvin® 400-DW ECO has a shelf life of 18 months.</li></ul>
