Joncryl® 500 by BASF is an acrylic polymer. It exhibits good hardness, stain resistance, and pigment dispersibility. It offers low viscosity at high solids and excellent flow and leveling exhibiting good durability.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is used in appliance, office furniture, and general metal coatings.</li> <li> Joncryl® 500 is suitable for high-build maintenance finishes and other polyurethane coatings.</li> <li> It can also be used in melamine crosslinked coating systems.</li> </ul> Joncryl® 678 by BASF is a styrene acrylic solid grade oligomer. It provides good color strength development, excellent transfer and printability, and good gloss and hold-out. Joncryl® 678 is designed to be used as extender in overprint varnishes and inks and as grinding vehicle to produce water-based pigment dispersions. In use as dispersion resin it provides good wetting properties for the manufacture of stable pigment dispersions. Joncryl® FLX 5201 by BASF is an aliphatic polyurethane dispersion for use in water-based lamination inks for medium-duty film applications. It provides excellent lamination bond strength, good compatibility with pigment concentrates and letdown varnishes, and good transfer and printability. Joncryl® 537 by BASF is rheology controlled, non-film forming acrylic emulsion. It offers gloss and good adhesion to flexible substrates such as vinyl and polystyrene. It provides good balance of resistance and resolubility. This grade is freeze thaw stable.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be coalesced to form an alkali and detergent resistant film for inks, overprint varnishes and functional packaging coating applications.</li>
<li>Joncryl® 537 is suitable for printing inks for flexographic or gravure applications.</li></ul> Joncryl® 631 by BASF is a hard non film forming styrene acrylic emulsion. It is designed to hide the brown background of natural kraft substrates. Joncryl® 631 improves ink brightness, color intensity, opacity and reduces pigment loading. It is used in printing inks, flexographic and gravure applications. Joncryl® 1987 by BASF is a low VOC, soft, flexible, one-pack self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion. Provides excellent clarity, good chemical-, cold check resistance and good adhesion. Joncryl® 1987 is suitable for waterborne systems. It is used in interior, exterior wood-, concrete coatings and plastics. Joncryl® 1655 by BASF is an ammonia-free, low odor, rheology controlled acrylic emulsion. It is fast drying, high gloss and offers excellent resolubility.
Suitable for printing inks for flexographic, gravure applications on paper and paperboard. Joncryl® 1655 is also designed for overprint varnishes for commercial, publication and packaging applications. Joncryl® FLX 5000 by BASF is a self-crosslinking RC acrylic emulsion. Designed for water-based inks. Joncryl® FLX 5000 shows very good resolubility. Joncryl® 74-A by BASF is a soft film forming, RC acrylic emulsion. Provides film formation and excellent rub, water and grease resistance to ink, overprint varnish and functional packaging coating formulations.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It allows the manufacture of high slide angle coatings for folding carton and multi-wall bag applications.</li>
<li>Joncryl® 74-A is also recommended for use in furniture flooring and floorcare, functional packaging, paper and paperboard and OPV.</li></ul> Joncryl® FLX 5000-A by BASF is a self-crosslinking, rheology controlled (RC) acrylic emulsion with excellent press solubility. <br><ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It develops excellent rub, wet crinkle, ice water crinkle resistance and deep freeze resistance. </li><li>It has excellent heat seal resistance and adhesion to polyolefin films. </li><li>It is suitable for water-based and solvent-based inks.</li><li>Joncryl® FLX 5000-A is recommended for printing inks for flexographic and gravure applications. </li></ul>
