It is based on a higher molecular weight polymer. It offers superior tensile strength and forms a tough, transparent film when dried at room temperature. It provides good storage stability, low sedimentation and adhesion to many substrates. AQUAREZ PVB DP 596-36 is recommended for use in protective-, strippable- and industrial coatings. It is also used as a binder in applications ranging from floor coverings to textiles. Aquarez EAA C32 by Aquaspersions is a low viscosity, water-based, surfactant-free, zero VOC emulsion of ethylene acrylic acid (EAA). It has fine particle size and provides good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including aluminum, paper and polyester. It shows high degree of water resistance. It is designed for use without additional formulation or as the base for the formulation of heat-seal coatings. AQUAREZ PP41 (Old Name: Aquarez DP 437-23) by Aquaspersions is a low viscosity, water-based emulsion of a modified polyolefin with fine particle size. It is free from APEO surfactants and contains zero VOC. It is suitable for the formulation with other aqueous emulsions and dispersions to enhance adhesion to non-polar substrates like polypropylene. It possesses good tensile strength and forms a stiff, tough and transparent film when dried at temperatures >60ºC. It offers outstanding adhesion to many substrates like glass, wood and metal. It provides water- heat and UV resistance. It exhibits increased stiffness, storage stability and low sedimentation. It is compatible with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB 610 is recommended as a binder in protective-, strippable- and textile coatings. AQUAREZ PVB DP548-47XL by Aquaspersions is a low viscosity, water-based emulsion of a cross-linkable polyvinyl butyral. It is recommended for use as sole or co-binder in heat-curable coatings. The film forms at ambient temperature to produce a clear, tough and durable coating on glass and metals. It provides non-ionic stabilization and consists of texanol as a coalescent. It is initiated when films are cured at temperatures >120°C for a minimum of 30 minutes. It free from plasticizer and APEO surfactants. The cured coatings demonstrate good adhesion to metals, glass, plastics and glass-fiber. It is designed for WB 1-component PU coating formulations.
