AQUAREZ PVB 610

AQUAREZ PVB 610 by Aquaspersions is a low viscosity, water-based dispersion of a polyvinyl butyral plasticized with butyl ricinoleate. It is a zero VOC, free from APEO surfactant, based on a higher molecular weight polymer with low plasticizer ratio (9:1). It possesses good tensile strength and forms a stiff, tough and transparent film when dried at temperatures >60ºC. It offers outstanding adhesion to many substrates like glass, wood and metal. It provides water- heat and UV resistance. It exhibits increased stiffness, storage stability and low sedimentation. It is compatible with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB 610 is recommended as a binder in protective-, strippable- and textile coatings.
