AQUAREZ PVB 519 by Aquaspersions is a water-based dispersion of a polyvinyl butyral plasticized with castor oil. It is based on a higher molecular weight polymer. It is used in the production of film with superior tensile strength, water resistance and forms transparent films when dried at room temperature. It is free from APEO surfactants and contains zero VOC. It possesses low viscosity, storage stability and low sedimentation. It provides adhesion to many substrates like glass, wood and metal. It shows good compatibility with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB 519 is designed for use in protective and strippable coatings.
