AQUAREZ PVB DP415-268 by Aquaspersions is a low viscosity, water-based dispersion of recycled (post-consumer) polyvinyl butyral plasticized with castor oil. It is based on a high molecular weight polymer. It is free from APEO surfactants and contains zero VOC. It possesses superior tensile strength and forms a tough, transparent film when dried at room temperature. It offers good water-, heat and UV resistance. It provides storage stability and low sedimentation. It shows excellent adhesion to many substrates, including glass, wood and metal. It is compatible with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB DP415-268 is suitable for use in protective- and strippable coatings and as a textile binder.
