RHEOBYK® -7405

by BYK

RHEOBYK®-7405 by BYK is a rheology- & thixotropic-enhancing additive that can be used in solvent-free and solventborne acrylate resin systems. It is an aromatic-, tin-free, solution of polyhydroxycarboxylic acid amide. It can reinforce the three-dimensional network structures of the phyllosilicates or fumed silica through additional bridges, thereby increases the thixotropy of the system. It achieves high anti-sagging properties with improved leveling. It is designed for use in adhesives and sealants. RHEOBYK®-7405 can be used alone in 2-component epoxy systems. The dosage level of the grade is 10-40% based on organophilic phyllosilicates or pyrogenic fumed silica.
