RHEOBYK® R 605 SG by BYK is a thixotropic-reinforcing rheology modifier for polyurethane and acrylate resins that are rendered thixotropic using pyrogenic silica or organophilic phyllosilicates (organoclays). It achieves anti-sagging properties with improved levelling and air release properties even with low quantities of silica or phyllosilicates.
- It is used in adhesive and sealant applications.
- Recommended dosage level is 10–30% based upon the pyrogenic silica or organophilic phyllosilicates.
- It complies with EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AIICS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI.
- RHEOBYK® R 605 SG has shelf life of 36 months.
