RHEOBYK® -430 by BYK is a rheology additive for improving the anti-sagging and anti-settling properties of solvent-borne adhesives and sealants. It exhibits pseudoplastic flow behavior.
- It generates a three-dimensional network structure with the aid of the pigments and fillers.
- The settling of the pigments and fillers is prevented and outstanding anti-sagging properties are produced due to the rapid rebound in viscosity after shearing.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.5% based upon the total formulation.
- RHEOBYK® -430 has a shelf life of 18 months.
