RHEOBYK® -7670 by BYK is a solid, non-dusting, biocide-, VOC-, APEO-, and tin-free associative thickener (HEUR) for use in aqueous systems. It is suitable for use in highly polar and aqueous binder systems.
- It increases viscosity in the medium shear range with a low impact in the high shear range.
- It optimizes the storage stability.
- It improves workability properties and results in an excellent balance between flowability and leveling.
- It has no negative effect on gloss or color acceptance.
- It is suitable for adhesives and sealants.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.6% based on the total formulation.
- RHEOBYK® -7670 has a shelf life of 36 months.
