HYBON® 2052 by PPG Industries is a continuous filament, single end roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Offers an APE-free sizing system and superior long-term composite durability resulting from excellent fiber-matrix interfacial hydrolysis resistance and strength retention. Shows excellent package transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. As an E-Glass fiber composition, it is compatible with amine and anhydride-cured epoxy resin systems. It requires low resin demand during processing. HYBON® 2052 is designed for designed for high and low-pressure epoxy pipe applications and pressure vessels. Exhibits good glass distribution with high composite mechanical properties and excellent package transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. Possesses low rate of dry abrasion over creel contact points. Offers good wet out and saturation consistency together with good abrasion resistance and processing characteristics. HYBON® 2124 by PPG Fiber Glass shows multi-compatibility for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. Designed for pultrusion applications. Typical end-use applications include ladder rails, structural beams, angles and cable trays. HYBON® 2662 by PPG Fiber Glass is a continuous filament, single-end roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Exhibits low abrasion, good wetting and tensile strength. Possesses high mechanical properties (static and fatigue) in high fiber volume fraction composites and consistent tex control.
