HYBON® 2052

HYBON® 2052 by PPG Industries is a continuous filament, single end roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Offers an APE-free sizing system and superior long-term composite durability resulting from excellent fiber-matrix interfacial hydrolysis resistance and strength retention. Shows excellent package transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. As an E-Glass fiber composition, it is compatible with amine and anhydride-cured epoxy resin systems. It requires low resin demand during processing. HYBON® 2052 is designed for designed for high and low-pressure epoxy pipe applications and pressure vessels. Used in pipes for oil and gas fields and offshore platforms, as well as chemical manufacturing operations.
