HYBON® 2662

HYBON® 2662 by PPG Fiber Glass is a continuous filament, single-end roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Exhibits low abrasion, good wetting and tensile strength. Possesses high mechanical properties (static and fatigue) in high fiber volume fraction composites and consistent tex control. Shows excellent packaging transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. Offers excellent processing performance and catenary-free single-end roving. It has an APE-free surface sizing system. HYBON® 2662 by PPG Fiber Glass shows multi-compatibility with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems and thermoset resin systems. Suitable for pultrusion, and filament winding applications. Used in multi-axial fabrics, weaving, knitting and braiding applications applications. Typical end-use applications include wind turbines, reinforced cables and consumer applications such as archery equipment, surfboards and ladder rails.
