HYBON® 2124 by PPG Fiber Glass is a direct roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. It has easily opened strands in order to expose their filaments. Exhibits good glass distribution with high composite mechanical properties and excellent package transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. Possesses low rate of dry abrasion over creel contact points. Offers good wet out and saturation consistency together with good abrasion resistance and processing characteristics. HYBON® 2124 by PPG Fiber Glass shows multi-compatibility for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. Designed for pultrusion applications. Typical end-use applications include ladder rails, structural beams, angles and cable trays.
