ChopVantage® HP 3273 by PPG Industries is suitable for use in all polypropylenes (PP) systems and has been developed for applications that require brilliant whiteness and high mechanical properties. The product is designed for components in the appliance market where color characteristics are critical. The chemistry of ChopVantage® HP 3273 chopped strands creates an excellent performance in hot, detergent-resistant applications.
HYBON® 2052 by PPG Industries is a continuous filament, single end roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Offers an APE-free sizing system and superior long-term composite durability resulting from excellent fiber-matrix interfacial hydrolysis resistance and strength retention. Shows excellent package transfer efficiency through the use of an outer adhesive film. As an E-Glass fiber composition, it is compatible with amine and anhydride-cured epoxy resin systems. It requires low resin demand during processing. HYBON® 2052 is designed for designed for high and low-pressure epoxy pipe applications and pressure vessels. Used in pipes for oil and gas fields and offshore platforms, as well as chemical manufacturing operations.
