HYBON® 2006

HYBON® 2006 by PPG Fiber Glass is a continuous filament, single-end strand roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. It is made of E-Glass fiber. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Offers rapid & complete wet out and saturation consistency together with high wet &dry abrasion resistance and processing characteristics. Tolerates filament winding processing conditions that ordinarily result in broken filaments. Multi-resin compatibility eliminates the need to change creels when changing resin systems, thus minimizing downtime. Compatible with amine and anhydride-cured epoxy resin systems. HYBON® 2006 by PPG Fiber Glass is designed for designed for filament winding and pultrusion applications. Suitable for applications such as piping in oil field CO₂ gathering systems and pressure cylinders. It is Germanischer Lloyd (GL) certified.
