HYBON® 2016

Direct draw roving, made of electrical (E) glass fiber. Designed for filament winding applications, which require maximum wet-out and wet-out consistency together with good abrasion resistance and processing characteristics. Provides strand hardness without sacrificing rapid and complete wet-out. Offers very good payout and package transfer; low resin demand during processing. Shows compatibility with either amine- or anhydride cured epoxy resin systems. Suitable for applications such as piping in oil-field CO2 gathering systems and pressure cylinders.
