Opteon™ 1150 by Chemours is hydrofluoroolefin-based foam blowing agent. It exhibits non-flammability, zero ozone depletion potential, unique boiling point, low vapor thermal conductivity and low permeation rate. It improves energy efficiency and foam thermal performance.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers extremely low global warming potential and good compatibility with metals, elastomers and plastics.
<li>It shows low to medium solubility in a broad range of typical urethane foam polyols.</li>
<li>It also exhibits high foaming efficiency, including equal weight substitution in some cases.</li>
<li> It provides much better k-factor values at low temperatures.</li>
<li>Opteon™ 1150 is extremely effective as a replacement for HFCs, HCFCs and HCs in urethane-based foam applications.</li>
