PELESTAT 6500 distributed by Toyotsu Chemiplas and manufactured by Sanyo Chemical Industries is a thermally stable, polymer-alloy type, permanent antistatic agent. It is designed for use in styrene resins such as HIPS & MS resins (including transparent ABS & MBS resins), polyester resins (including PBT), nylon resins and PC/ABS alloys.
- It is developed by using an original Sanyo Chemical compatibilization technique.
- It possesses high molecular weight & low content of halogenated compounds, and shows low dependency on humidity.
- It offers conductivity, good durability and protection against the problems caused by static electricity including destruction of electronic circuits, electric shock, appliance malfunctions and dust adhesion.
- It is suitable for injection molding and extrusion applications.
- It does not cause lowering of the physical properties & moldability and minimally affects the mechanical & surface properties of the base resins.
- PELESTAT 6500 is used in household electrical goods, office equipment, housings & storage cases of video game hardware & magnetic tapes, lighting fixture covers, meter panels and trays & containers for electric and electronic parts.
- The recommended dosage level is 10-15 wt%.
