
Atmer™ 129 by Cargill is bio-based, quick acting, internal anti-static agent. It offers mold release, improved demolding & process lubrication and shows synergistic effects with ethoxylated amines. It can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in the melt phase.
- It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it interacts with atmospheric moisture, reducing surface resistivity and allowing dissipation of static charge.
- It is suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and polyvinylchloride (PVC).
- It is used in automotive, biopolymers, caps & closures, and injection molding applications.
- Atmer™ 129 has a shelf life of 730 days.
