Anti-static Agents

Based on 897 products - Last update on the Jun 26, 2025

Antistatic agents are typically white to off-white powders or granules used in the plastics industry to prevent the buildup of static electricity. These agents function by reducing the surface resistivity of materials, allowing static charges to dissipate more effectively. Key features of antistatic agents include their ability to enhance safety, reduce dust attraction, and improve processing efficiency. Used in packaging, automotive, and electronics industries.

Alternatives to traditional antistatic agents include conductive fillers like carbon black and metallic powders. A notable trend in the industry is the increasing use of bio-based antistatic agents, driven by the demand for sustainable solutions. Sub-types of anti-static agents include external and internal agents.
