Mesamoll® II

by LANXESS

Mesamoll® II by LANXESS is phthalate-free, general-purpose plasticizer with a significantly reduced product carbon footprint (PCF). It has good gelling behavior and exceptional saponification resistance. It is suitable for many types of polymers including PVC, polyurethanes, and rubber (NBR, NR, SBR, SBR/BR, IIR, CR). It has high plasticizing capacity.
  • It exhibits good resistance towards weathering and is especially beneficial for articles that encounter water and alkalis.
  • It offers low volatility, adequate thermal stability, and saponification resistance.
  • It has low temperature flexibility and fire retardancy.
  • It offers greater softness, elasticity, flame retardant properties or resistance to chemicals, extraction, and migration.
  • It is characterized by a favorable di-electric property for high-frequency welding, leading to short cycle times.
  • In the extrusion process, it is used in profiles for the automotive industry, blown film, jointing strip, tubing, weathering, and alkali-resistant structural profiles.
  • In calendaring, it is designed for films for different applications such as electrical insulation, automotive industry, tunnel linings, and other construction applications.
  • Mesamoll® II is suitable in injection molding (work boots and technical articles), dip molding (PVC gloves), rotational molding (vinyl articles made by rotational casting), and in the production of swimming pool covers, shower curtains.
  • It has a shelf life of 2 years.

Sanitized® PL 14-32

by Sanitized

Sanitized® PL 14-32 by Sanitized is a non-volatile antimicrobial agent. It provides highly effective and durable protection for plasticized PVC and PUR articles against the attack of molds, mildew, fungi, yeasts, bacteria and algae. It is used in PVC plastisols for textile-, surface-, coil- and solvent-based PUR coatings. It offers good leaching-, water- and weathering resistance, light fastness and excellent UV stability. It also inhibits germ development on soiled surfaces. It may be used in toys and baby articles.
  • It reduces decomposition of plasticizers and additives in PVC and treats against discoloration and pink stain caused by Streptoverticillium reticulum.
  • It is free from pollutants and heavy metals such as phthalates, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, TBT and lead.
  • It is suitable for indoor applications such as flooring, coated furniture fabrics, shower curtains, awnings and artificial leather, and outdoor applications such as swimming pool- and roof liners, lining foils, cable casings, tarpaulins, tents and garden hoses.
  • It is also used in clothing and sports articles such as rain and protective wear, shoes and boots.
  • Substrates protected with Sanitized® PL 14-32 have excellent skin tolerance.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.4-0.6% for standard PVC, 0.6-1.0% for PVC articles which are heavily soiled or constantly in contact with water, and 0.25-0.6% related to dry PUR.
  • It is EU BPR compliant and is accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, classes I-IV.

Sanitized® BC 98-56

by Sanitized

Sanitized® BC 98-56 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial agent with bacteriostatic effect against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and algae. It is suitable for thermoplastic polymers such as PE, PP, TPE, TPU, EVA, SAN, rubbers (EPDM, NBR, NR, SBR), rigid PVC, PUR. It is designed for extrusion and injection molded articles as profiles, foils, films, fibers, foams, and containers.
  • Substrates protected with Sanitized® BC 98-56 are safe for man and the environment.
  • It is washing resistant and does not contain phthalates, arsenic, cadmium, TBT, mercury, or lead.
  • Its activity on the cell disrupts the metabolic processes of microorganisms, thereby interrupting their ability to function, grow, and reproduce.
  • It is used in various applications, including clothing for work and sportswear, rain and protective wear, gloves, and boots.
  • In technical applications, it is used for floor and wall coverings, awnings, tents, sanitary articles, and foams.
  • It is also used in furniture items like seat covers, mattress covers, shower curtains, and non-slip bath mats.
  • In sports articles and equipment, it is used for mats, tents, swimming aids, and earplugs.
  • Additionally, it is applied in automotive and public transport furnishings such as seat coverings and carpets, as well as in industrial applications like seals, conveyor belts, and handles.
  • It can be used for indirect food contact polymer applications at maximum of 1000 ppm.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3% of the total weight of the material to be protected.
  • It is US EPA-registered, EU BPR-compliant, and accepted for OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class I-IV.
