Ionphase™ U1 by Cargill is a halogen-free, non-migrating, permanent anti-static agent. It does not depend on humidity and is ready-to-use polymer additive that lowers surface resistivity. It offers control & safety for static electricity caused issues, improved non-charging properties, and reduced charge decay time.
- It is used to control static electricity in plastics.
- It is suitable for compounding, injection molding and extrusion applications with PC blends.
- It forms an interpenetrated network within the host polymer reducing the resistivity of the blend.
- It is used in electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for covers & housings in electronics as well as dust prevention in automotive interior parts & consumer appliances.
- Ionphase™ U1 is recommended for PC-blends, PBT, PMMA, TR-ABS, TPU and SEBS applications.
- It has a shelf life of 730 days.
